“FUTURE NOT SO BRIGHT” New Single from SWURF
After long way and the changes of members, then at 2018 ,SWURF, band that formed in Medan (Indonesia) fix their permanent formation. Nunu Akbar (vocal/guitar) , Daniel Alessandro Sirait (vocal/bass) and Muhammad Fadhil (drum) agree to step up the band with three members. After hard days since Javier Warghanda (guitar) left the band in the end of 2018, in the first of 2019 this Indie Rock trio try to jump shine with their new single “FUTURE NOT SO BRIGHT”.
“FUTURE NOT SO BRIGHT” tells about how to love ourselves, do everything that we love in consistency even in the hard way. It sounds like a denial to living a life in the same way like other people. English lyric, covered by the noisy sound of guitar and bass with the powerfull drums, SWURF just like serving fresh sounds to hear for all the teenagers who forced to listen the folk song at this time.
By this new single, SWURF not only wants to show their existence. This song is just one of their next EP that will be released in the near future. SWURF will be working with LEV Records, independent label from Malang (Indonesia) to launch their EP. Let’s say that this single will bring us to their next other songs. We’ll see.
