Band Industrial Rock Veteran HELMPROYEK Bergabung Dengan Orange Cliff Records Untuk Merilis Mini Album Perdana
HELMPROYEK adalah sebuah kolektif kerjasama music yang terbentuk sejak 20 tahun lalu. Proses kreatif unik antar anggotanya membuat mereka lebih suka untuk tidak disebut sebagai sebuah band. Mereka memulai ekspedisi musik pada tahun 1996 dengan performa sound abrasif, distorsi menderu, dan dentuman dingin drum machine. Petualangan ini harus berakhir pada tahun 2003 saat dewa kematian menjemput sang vokalis lewat penyakit paru-paru.
Melaju ke tahun 2012, Adhit Android (bass) merintis kembali kolektif ini dengan membawa Vira (gitar, sebelumnya di 180°), Indra (synth, sebelumnya di Souldelay) dan Thomi Athom pada vokal.
Di bawah naungan label butik Orange Cilff Records, HELMPROYEK akan meluncurkan mini album berjudul Premature EP pada bulan April 2017 dalam format digital, dan juga bekerjasama dengan +KROW+ Records dan Neverstop Records untuk merilis mini album ini dalam format kaset dengan jumlah terbatas.
Mini album ini merupakan versi remaster dari single2 yang sudah pernah dirilis pada masa silam ditambah lagu baru, yang dirilis sebagai ancang2 menuju album penuh mereka yang direncanakan tahun ini. Single pertama dari mini album ini berjudul Kanibal Kapitalis dapat disimak pada tautan berikut:

HELMPROYEK
Started somewhere on a high school in 1996, a group of youngsters instantly decided to make a band inspired by the harsh abrasive sound, distorted vocals, and cold beats of drum machine from the epic album “The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste” from Ministry. They executed their musical voyage on numerous gigs around Bandung and Jakarta under the moniker ‘HELMPROYEK’. Their journey met ultimate demise in 2003, following the passing of their vocalist.
In 2012, initiated by Adhit (bass) the band reformed with new roster: Vira (guitar, formerly on 180°), Indra (synth, formerly on Souldelay), and Thomi as their new singer.
Currently they are focusing to release their debut album in a near future.
To date, HELMPROYEK has released three singles:

- – ‘Atas Nama Bapa’ : Split-release from the netlabel YesNoWave, along with Serigala Jahanam and Matius III:II
‘Vendetta’ : From “Music Alliance Pact”, a collective release from 36 blogs around the world
