Ray Viera’s New Single: Cupid
Musisi pendatang baru, Ray Viera Laxmana merilis single ke-4 yang
berjudul “Cupid” pada tanggal 1 November 2019. Di single ini, untuk
pertama kalinya ia berkolaborasi dengan sesama musisi pendatang
baru lainnya yaitu Karina Nasywa.
Ditulis berdasarkan perspektif terhadap romansa yang dia alami di
lingkungan terdekatnya, dimana nilai positif dari suatu mutual feelings
yang bisa membawa mereka ke arah hidup yang lebih dinamis.
Di produseri oleh Jauza “Madjau” Muhamad, putra biologis Noey
Java Jive yang berkiprah sebagai musisi serta produser yang telah
lama malang melintang di dunia industri musik tanah air.
“Cupid” memadukan musik pop masa kini dikemas dengan suasana
awal 80-90an di dalam nya.
Single ini sudah dapat di dengar di seluruh platforms digital streaming
pada tanggal 1 November 2019
About
Ray Viera Laxmana is a 21-year old singer/songwriter from Bandung,
Indonesia. His first introduction to music was at Junior High School
through guitar and the drums. His music heavily influenced by musician
such as Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, The Beach Boys, Weezer, and
Arctic Monkeys.
Within his inner awkward personality and thoughtful person, there is
music to translate his perspective through his songwriting based on
daily and personal life. He also listening to modern-musician such as
Tom Misch, Mac Ayres, FKJ, Hippo Campus, and Inner Wave then he
fell in love with the authentic and soulful melodies that have inspired
him in creating his own style of alternative indie pop.
After release his first single “Aphrodite” in September 2018, he’s
growing and release his second single “Lunar Rhapsody” in April 2019.
Now, he’s currently working on his debut EP.
