Hello! We will announce the upcoming marketplace for music education in Southeast Asia!
#SEAMEX (Southeast Asia Music Education Exchange) is the first dedicated marketplace for
music education in Southeast Asia. It fills the information void and presents the music
education players in the region, thereby branding the music education industry in Southeast
Asia. The theme of this third edition of SEAMEX 2019 Indonesia is “Music, Sphere, and
Interconnected Generations” in line with the vision of SEAMEX the first music education
exchange platform in Southeast Asia. SEAMEX 2019 serves as the bridge for cross generations
to gather in music sphere with full happiness. A hundred of music professionals from 10
ASEAN countries will come together to share ideas, explore opportunities and build a solid
network. Other international country representatives are also invited to participate in the
dialogues. Mark your date! From 6 to 8 September 2019 in Jogja National Museum,
Yogyakarta, Indonesia, at 9 am – 10 pm. Don’t miss it! Come and join SEAMEX 2019! Music

Let’s introduce our speaker, Dory Soekamti. He is the guitarist of Endank Soekamti, as well as
the manager of Euforia Music Publisher.
Euforia Music Publisher has started from Dory’s concern. He concerns about the ignorance of
musicians about the importance of managing copyrighted works, protecting and empowering
their work.
In Jogjakarta there isn’t yet the publisher that support the musician in making the music works,
then they should go to Jakarta to protect and manage their copyrighted works. With Euforia
Music Publisher, Dory has a desire to embrace music composers in Jogjakarta and enlarge to
the entire Nusantara. He also wants to make Jogjakarta as a city known as the advanced music
industry, which is competitive to other big cities in Indonesia.

Do you know about Djaduk Ferianto? Yes, he is an Indonesian artist who pioneered
Ngayogjazz. As one of Yogyakarta’s annual jazz events, Ngayogjazz comes with the concept
of promoting jazz music in the village.

tau siapa dia?
Tya Subiakto adalah seorang penata musik film di Indonesia. Tya telah membuat banyak
jingle sejak tahun 1997 dan memulai orkerstranya yang dikenal dengan T&T Orcherstra
sejak 1998. Pengalamannya dalam bermusik sudah tak diragukan lagi lho. Telah banyak
karya musik film yang telah ia buat, seperti Ayat-Ayat Cinta (2008) dan Surga Yang Tak
Dirindukan (2015). Tak asing bukan?
Kabar baiknya Tya Subiakto akan hadir di SEAMEX 2019 pada sesi Music Talk tanggal 8
