Pada awal bulan Desember 2014 ini, singer-songwriter asal Jakarta, Puti Chitara
merilis single ketiga berjudul ‘Silly Dolly’ dari album debutnya ‘Sarsaparilla
Dream’ yang telah dirilis pada 20 Maret 2014 lalu dibawah naungan Demajors
dan telah diedarkan dalam format CD dan versi digital via iTunes.
Berbeda dari single-single sebelumnya seperti ‘Sarsaparilla Dream’ dan
‘Universe’ yang mendayu dan bernuansa ballad, dengan paduan instrumen
seperti melodica dan penyajian musikal bernuansa sirkus, lagu ‘Silly Dolly’ ini
merupakan salah satu lagu dari album Puti Chitara yang bertempo riang,
menceritakan tentang kisah seorang anak gadis bernama Dolly yang selalu
kurang beruntung dalam percintaan, terinspirasi dari kehidupan anak-anak
muda pada masa SMU. Musiknya sendiri banyak mendapatkan inspirasi dari
beberapa musisi favorit Puti Chitara seperti Kanno Yoko, Shiina Ringo dan
Mocca.
‘Silly Dolly’ akan dirilis secara eksklusif di RollingStone.co.id dan bisa diunduh
secara gratis mulai awal Desember 2014.
