We are very happy to release the first mix from Farhanah (Bogor, Indonesia). It reflects her interest in jazz, poetry, electronic music, and tearing down the boundaries of enjoyment between them. It features her newest project, Muted Dancing Poet, which fuses spoken word with groove-laden, sonic landscapes she creates on a smartphone. These tracks sit comfortably amongst some of her favorite artists, Yazz Ahmed, Jonwayne, Go Go Machine Orchstra, Jon Brion, Darondo, and more! Farhanah hopes this mix will be nice accompaniment for your activities during the lockdown. It has certainly made us feel more alive.

Farhanah’s Bio
Farhanah lives in Bogor and occasionally writes poems or other stuff. Her poetry book, Masuk Toko Keluar Di Tokyo, was published in 2018. She works for digital rights and security out of her interest in technology which has also brought her to create remix loops and beats once in a while. Some of the selected tracks on this mix have influenced her a lot, especially in tearing down the boundaries of enjoyment among electronic, jazz, poetry, and everything in between.
