BRYAN ADAMS MERILIS LAGU BARU BERJUDUL “KICK ASS”
New York, NY (9 Desember 2021) – Hari ini, penyanyi/penulis lagu ternama Bryan Adams telah merilis “Kick Ass,” lagu terbaru dari album studionya mendatang “So Happy It Hurts” yang rencananya akan dirilis pada tanggal 11 Maret 2022 melalui Perusahaan Rekaman BMG. Lagu ini sarat akan permainan gitar klasik dan style musik Rock yang ringan di telinga — dengarkan di sini dan tonton video liriknya di sini.
“Kick Ass” dibuka dengan pidato pengantar dari komedian John Cleese yang merangkum isi lagu dengan punchline jenaka — tak ada cukup rock and roll di dunia ini! Ayo, mainkan lebih banyak gitar, drum, dan mari bergandengan tangan… let’s rock,” kata Adams.
Selain itu, untuk merayakan perilisan Kalender Pirelli (The Cal) 2022, Adams turut merilis lagu dan video klip bertema On The Road, sesuai dengan tema The Cal tahun ini. Tema dan judul On the Road pada kalender tahunan bergengsi tersebut juga merupakan hasil dari gagasan Adams yang telah lama menekuni pekerjaan fotografi di samping karir musiknya. Untuk edisi ini, Adams memotret deretan superstar besar, termasuk di antaranya Cher, Iggy Pop, Jennifer Hudson dan Rita Ora, dalam rangka mengilustrasikan perjalanan visual yang dramatis dalam perjalanan tur seorang musisi. Penyanyi, penulis lagu, dan gitaris ini bergabung dalam daftar fotografer Kalender Pirelli bersama 47 nama besar lain yang sebelumnya menampilkan karya fotografi mereka di kalender tersebut, seperti Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts dan Annie Leibovitz. Adams adalah fotografer pertama yang turut tampil di dalam halaman kalender sepanjang sejarah The Cal.
So Happy it Hurts merupakan rilisan ke-15 Bryan Adams, menampilkan 12 lagu baru yang ditulisnya bersama dengan sejumlah penulis lain. Album ini akan tersedia di seluruh platform digital dan dalam berbagai format fisik, termasuk CD standar, CD deluxe dengan sampul lenticular 3D, serta buku hardbound dan piringan hitam. Piringan hitam dalam warna eksklusif, serta box set edisi terbatas yang berisi CD deluxe, piringan hitam, buku hardbound, dan foto bertanda tangan juga tersedia untuk dipesan secara pre-order di sini.
