‘MOMO’S MYSTERIOUS SKIN’ A Second Album by BAP. Out Now

Since releasing his debut album ‘monkshood’ in 2018, Jakarta-based experimental hip-hop artist, BAP. is back with the sophomore full-length, ‘MOMO’S MYSTERIOUS SKIN’ with 12 uppercase-title-tracks that were written, produced, and recorded by himself during the pandemic. The album tells about pride, love, life, and other aspects of what went through in the year 2020. “Art is the only constance in my life besides my family and friends, and even then how they operate reminds me of a blank canvas being filled with paint day by day,” he said.
The 33-minute-long-album taking samples of various styles of Indonesian music like Shark Move, The SIGIT, White Shoes & The Couples Company, and Maliq & D’Essentials. MOMO’S MYSTERIOUS SKIN follows the release of the singles ‘PAINTING WITH SUWAGE, ‘SAME SHOES, NO COMPANY’, and “RICHTER / RICHTER’. “I am here to make a man out of myself, through my art.
