Samstrong Records Menggaet Unit Hardcore Prejudize dan Merilis Ulang “Demo 2021” dalam Format CD
Prejudize merupajan unit hardcore anyar yang berbasis di Bandung. Didirikan sekitar akhir 2019, bersama beberapa nama baru dari kota tersebut, Prejudize menjadi band yang disebut-sebut memiliki potensi untuk kebangkitan kancah hardcore Bandung dari stagnansi beberapa tahun belakangan ini.
Prejudzie adalah Arga (Vocal), Keniro (Guitar), Rian (Guitar), Reza (Bass), dan Hilman (Drum). Arga selaku pentolan pertama kali mulai membentuk dan menggaet beberapa personel Prejudize dilakukan sejak 2019, dengan musikalitas yang mengarah pada oldschool death metal, semacam Obituary. Nemun setelah mempertimbangkannya lebih lanjut hardcore dengan sentuhan riff-riff metal yang menjadi hasil dari musyawarah mereka.
Demo 2021 merupakan sebuah EP yang cukup berat secara suara, “Pada saat penggarapan itu aku kan minta bantuan Kevin (Bleach), terus dia ngasih beberapa referensi kayak Expire dan Sunami. Ya sudah, emang lumayan masuk.” Ucap Arga. Hal tersebut memang cocok dengan karakter vokal Arga yang gahar dan lantang ketika berteriak.

Setelah sebelumnya sempat dirilis dalam bentuk kaset oleh Peachy Daze Records, dengan dasar elan yang sama, Samstrong Records memutuskan untuk merilis kembali Demo 2021 milik Prejudize dalam format CD dengan jumlah terbatas; 50 keping saja.
Arga yang bertanggung jawab pada penulisan lirik mengatakan bahwa inti kisah yang ia tuangkan jika dirangkum yakni; rasa muak. Entah itu terhadap diri sendiri dan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Ketika Arga sadar betul jika hal tersebut tidak bisa ia sampaikan secara langsung pada hal atau individu yang ia maksud, Arga lebih memilih untuk menuangkan pada bait-bait liriknya.
“Jika diibaratkan itu posisi atau kemuakkannya seperti karakter Venom atau Travis Bickle dalam Taxi Driver (1976).” Ujar Arga.
Dalam proses rekaman yang dilakukan di Escape Studio Bandung, Arga menyebutkan bahwa ada sebuah hal yang bisa dibilang fun fact, “Seharusnya di trek ‘Redemption’ itu Alvin (Bleach) yang bantu ngisi vokal, tapi akhirnya Dandy (Car Crash Coma) yang ngisi, itu juga karena dia emang lagi ada di studio aja.” Ucap Arga dengan gelak tawa.
Demo 2021 milik Prejudize tersebut direkam di Escape Studio Bandung dengan produser Kevin Raf, perihal mixing dan mastering mereka percayakan pada Bersuara Music, sedangkan artwork dan logo band digarap oleh Elansyah.
